In Memoriam - Sonia Daly Belcher

February 20, 1976 - February 20, 2008

"O God of spirits, and of all flesh, who hast trampled down Death, and overthrown the Devil, and given life unto thy world: Do thou, the same Lord, give rest to the soul of thy departed servant, Sonia, in a place of brightness, a place of verdure, a place of repose, whence all sickness, sorrow and sighing have fled away. Pardon every transgression which she hath committed, whether by word, or deed, or thought. For thou art a good God, and lovest mankind; because there is no man who liveth and sinneth not: for thou only art without sin, and thy righteousness is to all eternity, and thy word is true."

It is with utmost sadness that we relay the news of the sudden falling asleep in the Lord of Theophany School's Founder Sonia Daly Belcher. Words cannot express the loss of our dear Sonia; she is an inspiration to us all. We ask that you pray for Sonia's soul, for her husband Deacon Nicholas Belcher, their four-month old son Andrew Nicholas and for her entire family. May her memory be eternal.
