Corporate Board members
Fr. Nicholas Belcher is the husband of the school’s late founder, Sonia Daly Belcher. Fr. Nicholas serves as the Dean of Students at Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. He received his B.A. in History and B.S. in Education from the Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, in 1997 and his M.Div. from Saint Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary in 2005. After graduating from the Citadel, Dn. Nicholas taught World History and A.P. Government at the Altoona Area High School. During his summers, he served as a counselor, Head Counselor, and Program Director at the Antiochian Village summer camp in Ligonier, PA. Upon graduation from seminary, Fr. Nicholas worked as the Assistant Director of the Office of Vocation & Ministry and Director of CrossRoad until his current assignment as Dean of Students. He serves at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in West Roxbury, MA where he was ordained to the Holy Diaconate by His Eminence Metropolitan PHILIP in April of 2007.
Mrs. Erin Kimmett is a graduate of Wichita State University with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in graphic design. Erin worked for ten years as Director of Publications at WSU. She has designed and produced curriculum materials for the Orthodox Christian Education Commission as well as the Antiochian Archdiocese. A trained Byzantine iconographer, Erin writes icons for Orthodox churches across the country, and owns and manages the Annunciation Press. She is married to V. Rev. Joseph Kimmett, pastor of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Norwood, MA. She is the mother of Theophany alums, Nicholas and Zachary.
Mrs. Amalia Sgourakes Machado is a graduate of Smith College and is the Assistant Director of Administration at Harvard University’s School of Dental Medicine. In addition to being a committed Board member of Theophany School and current chair, she is active at her home parish of St. Demetrios Church in Weston where she serves on the Philoptochos Board. She also volunteers at the Boston Animal Rescue League.
